01
Where can a benefit arise?
Demand peaks. The battery can supply part of the power when more equipment runs at the same time. We first examine the cause of the peak and the options for time-based load management.
Production expansion. If a new line needs additional power only at certain intervals, storage can supplement the grid connection. In the case of a permanent power shortage, we also look at upgrading the infrastructure.
Own photovoltaics.Work shifts, shutdowns and weekends determine how much electricity the company uses directly and how much is worth storing.
02
Not all processes can be shifted.
Production has its priorities. Some equipment must run at a precise time, other equipment has operational flexibility. We look for that flexibility only where using it will not disrupt the production process.
Load management can reduce the required battery size. The aim is not to compensate every peak at any cost, but to find an appropriate solution.
03
An outage can be more expensive than electricity.
Sometimes the whole production line does not need to keep running. It is enough to supply the controls, cooling, pumps or selected drives needed for a safe shutdown.
Backup operation must be part of the technical design. A battery alone does not provide automatic backup.
