For households

Generate your energy. Store it. Use it when you need it.

During the day, photovoltaics can generate more electricity than the home consumes. In the evening come cooking, lighting, heating or charging the car, but there is less solar energy by then.

A home battery can store part of the daytime generation for later. However, its benefit depends on your home, your consumption and what you expect from the system.

What do you want to solve at home?

“I have photovoltaics and surpluses.”I want to use more of my own electricity in the evening and at night.PV + battery for households →“I am choosing a home battery.”I need to know the suitable capacity, power, compatibility and expansion options.Home battery →“I charge an electric vehicle.”I want to coordinate the car with solar generation and the home's consumption.Electric vehicle and home energy →“I have a heat pump.”I want to better connect electricity, heating and hot water.Heat pump, PV and battery →“I want backup during an outage.”I need to determine which appliances should stay on and for how long.Backup power for households →“I am considering a dynamic electricity price.”I want to find out whether my household has room to shift consumption in time.Dynamic tariff and home battery →

The largest battery is not necessarily the best.

The size of the PV system alone does not determine the suitable battery. What matters is the amount of surplus, evening consumption, large appliances and the required backup reserve.

Not all energy needs to be stored in a battery. If you can use it directly in the home, a heat pump or a car, we assess this option too.

Backup must be part of the design.

Having a battery does not automatically mean having electricity during an outage. Backup operation depends on the inverter, the wiring and the selected circuits.

Basic backup for the fridge, lights and heating controls is a different requirement from supplying the whole home. Both power and available energy matter.

Technologies should work together.

EMS – Energy Management System can, depending on the solution, coordinate photovoltaics, the battery, consumption, the heat pump and charging. Monitoring shows you how the system works.

We start with your household. Not a catalogue.

Tell us your approximate consumption, what photovoltaics you have, your large appliances and your plans for the future. On this basis, we assess what role the battery should play.
